I help college and graduate students who look like they’re doing fine—but feel constantly overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted—learn how to calm their nervous system and regain confidence. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or emotionally drained, even if you’re not sure exactly why. You might be dealing with anxiety, feeling stuck or disconnected, struggling with motivation, or carrying experiences from your past that still affect you today. Many students I work with are trying their best, care deeply, and just need a space where they don’t have to hold everything together. If you’re looking for someone who will listen with care, meet you where you are, and help you make sense of what you’re feeling, you’re in the right place. Our work together is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on helping you feel grounded, understood, and more confident navigating daily life. I also support students who are healing from difficult family experiences, spiritual or religious harm, or other painful experiences. These can shape how you see yourself and your relationships, and it’s okay if you’re still figuring things out. Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to say or where to start. We can take things at your pace. If any part of this resonates with you, I’d be happy to connect and see if working together feels like a good fit.
My personal experience with therapy, first at a young age and consistently throughout my life, is what inspired me to pursue my own clinical social work license. Therapy provided a safe space for me and a consistency that didn’t exist anywhere else in my life. My goal has always been to pass that gift along to my clients. I practice the tools I teach to clients in my own life and I show up authentically when I'm with clients. I am a therapist who is happy to answer questions from clients that will help them feel safe in the therapeutic relationship.

From the outside, you have it all together, but on the inside you feel disconnected. A gap between the life you’re living and the person you want to be. This disconnection is often a way our mind and body protect us, but overtime it leaves us feeling stuck or empty, in a cycle of doing rather than being. Whether we are navigating relationship concerns or echoes from the past, my focus is meeting you where you are. I work with individuals and couples to peel back these layers and rebuild trust and safety within yourself and others. Together, we work on understanding, untangling, and exploring emotions, behaviors, and past experiences and how they shape you, your world, and your relationships. We create trust and connection within yourself. It isn’t about control or correction. It’s about empowering you with the clarity and trust needed to meet challenges from a place true to you. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that welcomes all orientations, relationships, and lifestyles. My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and unique to you. You are not alone, when you're ready, I'm here. If you'd like to learn more, reach out for a free consultation. I'd love to work with you. Email is the best way to get in touch.

I believe therapy is a space for growth and change that can lead to stronger relationships, healthier ways of functioning, and a deeper sense of well-being. In our work together, I’ll bring empathy, respect, and genuine care. My role is to support you in becoming more self-aware and confident, while helping you make the changes you want to see in your life. To me, therapy is a collaborative process. I’m not here to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you as a guide, a support, and sometimes just a steady presence while you navigate life’s challenges. I truly believe that everyone has the ability to grow and the responsibility to pursue that growth when they’re ready. I also believe our relationships with family, partners, friends, or chosen community play a huge role in our overall well-being. When those connections feel off or strained, it can affect so many other areas of life. Whether we're working one-on-one, with a couple, or with a family, I take a systemic approach to understand the bigger picture and help shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck. And I know that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’ll work together to find what feels right for you. Most importantly, I’ll offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Ever feel like you're always just "catching up" or you're on the "outside" looking in? As an Autistic professional, I love assisting other neurodivergent individuals in navigating a neurotypical world. I offer a judgement-free, solution-oriented space where authenticity is the only agenda and an "eyes wide open" approach that uses precision and depth to uncover what’s hidden. I serve adult clients who may be experiencing identity and worldview transitions, shame and perfectionism, anxiety, as well as grief and depression. My specialty is helping clients succeed in their search for self-trust and direction. Life is a story full of unexpected twists and chapter breaks. It can be easy to lose the plot along the way. I primarily utilize Existential Psychotherapy with aspects of SFBT, emphasizing elements such as meaning-making, authenticity, and personal agency. This makes my approach highly adaptive to your specific journey. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with my master's degree in Counseling and Development and am licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Billie Baker, LPC-S, and Dr. James Parker, LP. I offer in-person and teletherapy sessions with Dallas Therapy Associates.

ONLINE ONLY! In my view, psychotherapy serves different purposes at different stages of one's life. For young adults, one of the key tasks at hand is to discover their potential, talents, weaknesses, fears, wants and needs, and to manage relationships at various levels of emotional intimacy. In this process, many of us need to clarify past issues and unresolved conflicts to move forward more freely. My practice is informal, relaxed and friendly, and most of my clients come from multicultural and multiracial backgrounds, and I treasure diversity. I am comfortable working in English, Portuguese and Spanish languages.
