Hi, I’m Tabitha Cantu, MSW, LCSW, and I provide virtual therapy to women in university as I understand the challenges college can bring. Many of the women I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, boundaries, life transitions, relationship challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and the pressures of school, work, and everyday life. As a Hispanic woman who has lived and worked in different states across the U.S., I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and communities. These experiences have broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the unique culture, communities, and challenges individuals face, and shaped the compassionate, culturally responsive approach I bring to therapy. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re adjusting to college life, managing academic stress, working through relationship concerns, or seeking greater confidence and balance, therapy can provide a space to explore challenges and develop practical tools for growth. I currently offer virtual therapy sessions throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Florida.
College brings a lot of change — newfound independence, heavy course loads, and big life decisions that come with new relationships. My desire is to provide a warm, down-to-earth space where college students can talk through the challenges of becoming more independent, manage academic stress, and figure out next steps after committing to a partner. Together we’ll build practical skills, set realistic goals, and find choices that feel true to you. If you need support navigating this stage, I’m here to help.
Your life is changing. Becoming an adult can be exciting, but it can also be scary. With so much freedom, you have to learn balance and responsibility. At the same time, you need to explore who you are, what you like, and where you want to go. It can be overwhelming. I can offer you the support you need to manage any difficult feelings, confusing relationship experiences, and challenging identity concerns you face. I welcome all identities, backgrounds, and cultures. I work well with BIPOC folx and am always trying to be a proactive ally to the LGBTQIA++ community. I look forward to learning more about how I can help you.
Life can be hard and sometimes we need a bit of support. Hello! My name is Audra, and I appreciate you considering sharing your health journey with me. I have 7 years of professional work experience and over 22 years of experience raising and homeschooling my family. I specialize in working with clients who present with issues of stress, anxiety, family conflicts, parenting concerns, trauma, abuse, depression, communication/relationship problems, and problems with life changes/stressors. I also have an extensive history working with families and victims of sexual abuse. God has given me the gift of being able to connect with the clients and families I work with. Through this connection, I can help you determine the path you want to take. It takes strength to seek change and courage to open yourself up. My role as your therapist is to work with you to build the skills to succeed in reaching the treatment goals you set. I'm excited to be part of your journey.
We are committed to helping people heal and create happier, healthier lives. Often, trauma, grief, anxiety, or depression are part of the story that needs healing. Through the use of expressive therapies like EMDR, art, or sandtray our counselors can help you ease symptoms and find your own path to a happier life. It takes immense courage to reach out and ask for help. Sometimes we may not know exactly what is causing our troubles, only that we have been struggling for some time. At HopeWise our counselors can help you find calm in the chaos so that you can begin the healing process. Our therapists use mindfulness, relaxation techniques, EMDR, or other coping skills to help you find a feeling of safety and calm. Finding a sense of calm is just one benefit of counseling. Understanding our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how they come to be can be an important tool in creating a happier life. Our counselors can help you explore and learn how to develop healthier thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are true to your own values. We invite you to start your healing journey today. Call us to schedule an appointment.

You’re the strong one — the responsible one — the one who learned early how to hold it together. You navigate different spaces, code-switching when needed, carrying family expectations while trying to build relationships that feel healthy and secure. You’re self-aware, but old attachment patterns still show up. You’re ready to understand what shaped you and create connection that feels safe, mutual, and authentic. I provide trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapy for Black and Brown Millennials and Gen Z adults and couples. Using EMDR and relational therapy, we process generational and relational wounds so you can shift patterns at their root — not just manage the symptoms. You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone. Many of your patterns were learned for survival — they make sense. Therapy offers space to unlearn what no longer serves you and build something healthier. If you’re ready for intentional, culturally responsive depth work, I invite you to reach out.
You are navigating the wild world of adulting, and let's be real, it's A LOT. Maybe you thought you had it all figured out in high school, but now you're staring down college, or a new job, or just trying to discover who you are, and you feel like everyone can see that you have no clue what you are doing. You're bombarded with classes, or trying to make rent, maintain relationships, and still keep up with what life throws at you. Maybe you're feeling totally isolated, just going through the motions of what you imagine a “real grown up” should be. You're feeling directionless, but the pressure to have it all together is everywhere. People come to me for a therapist who is genuine, honest, down to earth and doesn't patronize since therapy should be a place where you feel seen, understood and empowered. My style of therapy is fitting for those who think therapy "isn't for them." Together we can find your passions and purpose. Email or text me today for a free 15 minute consult. Let's go!
I have over 20 years experience working with young adults navigating life transitions. I have a passion for supporting them through the challenges of adulting. Many of my clients are learning how to balance school, work, friendships, and relationships. This is common and can be more difficult if you have a history of trauma and are trying to learn who you are in this world. I have also worked with many non-traditional students providing support for the challenges of making a mid-life career change. Traditional or non-traditional student, I would love support you in reaching your goals and learning the skills needed to navigate life!
Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker who practiced in a college counseling setting for over 4 years and I have 15 years of counseling experience total. I continue to work with college students in my private practice and I enjoy working with people to better manage anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief, life transitions, relationship, concerns, and general stress. My practice is body positive and LGBTQ+, immigrant, and international student supportive and affirming. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for processing fears, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I use various types of therapy, including ACT, CBT, DBT skills, somatic therapy, schema therapy, ERPT, narrative therapy, and person centered therapy, but I tailor sessions to what works best for you. I also welcome your feedback in the process. I strongly encourage coming to therapy in the way that you are most comfortable - meaning, swear if you feel the need, don't apologize for eating in sessions if you are hungry, show up in your pajamas - whatever. As long as you are safe and comfortable and you are able to talk privately, I support it. I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit, because having a therapist you trust and match with is paramount. I offer virtual telehealth sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I offer in person sessions in Kingwood, Texas on Wednesdays. Please feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to connect and I wish you the best in your therapist search!
